In 2024, the volume of imported electric and hybrid vehicles in Uzbekistan surpassed gasoline cars for the first time. The average price of an imported electric car decreased almost three times.

Free car eco-stickers, eco-zone entry fines and compensation: Uzbekistan’s new regulations
Eco-stickers for transportation is expected to be required across Uzbekistan, starting from June 1. Most vehicles are to receive free stickers, with new cars and electric vehicles getting green stickers. Compensations and fines are anticipated to regulate entry into eco-zones.
